Authentic Indian Style

Kumar's Kitchen. Made to Order. Sealed with Tradition. Served Like a Feast.

Authentic Flavours. Made with Love.

We're a home cloud kitchen in the UK. We cook every biryani to order on the day you name. Sealed, slow-steamed, and packed by the feast, not the portion.

How ordering works

From basket to table

We shop and cook for each order individually. That is why we ask for a day's notice, and why nothing arrives reheated.

  1. 1

Pick a feast or a thali

A biryani feast in Veg, Chicken or Mutton, in the size that matches your table. Or a thali by the plate.

  2. 2

    Make it yours

On a biryani feast you choose the gravy, and on Chicken or Mutton the side dish too. On a thali you choose whether it comes with rice.

  3. 3

    Name the day

Kumar posts a menu for each sitting, so you'll see the days and sittings cooking what's in your basket.

  4. 4

    Confirm on WhatsApp

Your order reaches us as a single message. We reply to confirm price, timing and payment.

  5. 5

    Party orders

Cooking for a crowd, or need something the feast sizes don't cover? and we'll plan it with you.

Menu & pricing

The full price list

Biryani feasts are priced per pot, not per head, and one feast is one kind of biryani. Order two if you want two. Thalis are priced per plate, and come to a pound less without the rice.

Our kitchen

No dining room. Just the pot.

We're a cloud kitchen, so there are no tables to book and no counter to queue at. We take a set number of orders for each day, buy for them that morning, and cook every feast ourselves.

Everything is made the day it reaches you. Nothing sits waiting.

That is the whole reason for the two-day lead time: a Family Feast for four is a real pot of rice, a marinade that needs its hours, and a halwa we can't rush. Order ahead, and you get food that tastes like it was cooked for you, because it was.

Good to know

Questions we get asked

Why do I need to order a day ahead?

We cook every order from scratch on the day, and buy the meat and vegetables for it the day before. A day's notice lets us plan the day's pots properly, so the earliest you can pick is tomorrow. If you need something sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we'll say yes if the day allows it.

Can I mix two different biryanis in one combo?

No. Each combo is priced for a single type of biryani. If you want a Chicken Duo and a Veg Duo, add both to your basket as separate feasts and we'll cook and pack them separately.

Who decides the side dish, gravy and sweet?

You choose the gravy on every full feast: Veg Kurma or Brinjal Gravy. On a Chicken or Mutton feast you also choose the side dish, Chicken Tandoori or Chicken 65. The veg side dish and the sweet are the chef's choice, set fresh for each cooking day and shown on this site before you order, so you always know what's coming. Onion raitha is in every full feast.

Do you deliver outside Belfast?

No. Delivery covers the Belfast postcode districts BT1 to BT17 only. If you're outside that, you can still order and collect from 8 Baronsgrange Crescent, Carryduff, BT8 8GP. Put your postcode in at checkout and the site will tell you immediately which applies.

What exactly is in a Jus Biryani?

Biryani and onion raitha only. No side dish, no gravy, no sweet. It's the option for when you just want the rice.

How do I pay?

Your order reaches us on WhatsApp with the full total already worked out. We confirm availability and price, then arrange payment with you directly. Nothing is charged through this site.

How does delivery work?

We deliver within Belfast, BT1 to BT17. Enter your postcode at checkout and the site checks it against the area instantly and shows how far you are from the kitchen. Anywhere else, collection from Carryduff is always available.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Message us as early as you can. Changes are usually fine before we've shopped for your order; once cooking has started, a feast can't be cancelled.

Is the food halal? Any allergens?

Ask us directly on WhatsApp before ordering and we'll tell you exactly how a dish is prepared. Add any dietary note in the special instructions box and we'll see it with your order.
